Prism Software (GB) Limited provides a service by supporting and maintaining all its customers covered by a software support contract who are the users of software developed by Prism Software GB Limited. This may involve remotely controlling to remedy data on customers pc’s, sometimes this may involve downloading and repairing data files before sending them back to the customers systems.

Data is processed by Prism Software GB Limited, strictly in accordance with customers instructions and otherwise in accordance with the requirements of relevant laws, for the purposes determined by the customer.

Prism Software (GB) Limited acts as a processor for the purposes of GDPR.

What type of information is collected from you ?

The Personal data processed will include: your end-user details, Date of birth, Forename, Surname

Address Information, Telephone No. , Mobile No. , Customer email address , Customer employer details

Customer Occupation, Customer notes (specific to this end-user, entered by customer staff)

Photographs, Scanned ID information

Where is the personal data stored and for how long ?

If there is a need to download the data from a customers site, it is stored on an encrypted server at our offices. The servers encryption is AES 128 Bit and FIPS 140-2 accredited.

The data is then immediately repaired and sent back to the customers site. The copy on our server is removed immediately after transferring back to the customer.

Who has access to the personal data?

Access to personal data stored by Prism Software (GB) Limited is restricted. Only the Technical Support Agent that is handling the customer has access to the data.

Prism Software (GB) Limited we will not, under any circumstances, sell or rent your personal information to any third parties.
